Three months into the new year already. Time can mislead you if you don't pay attention to what's really needed in order to make things happen. It doesn't matter if you're new to this or if you are an experienced store owner - some things are taken for granted and you might skip some tasks you promised to resolve in the first place. There's no more time to lose - the economy is rolling and we hope that the market is warming up again. So what should you do next? 4Psite listed a few reminders and some suggestions to look forward to!

Cleaning

We actually discussed this topic recently with our customers. Our latest webinar talked about inventory and the need to make things look organized enough to keep the business running smoothly. Usually, a room needs to look clean and neat to have a good start of the day, right? Same thing applies to your local warehouse and/or multiple locations. Define a day or two to physically count the quantities that you have on-hand and compare it to your automated inventory. If there's any inconsistency for not closing the loop, not shipping or even missing orders, it's time to make it correct. 4P only asks you the on-hand quantity and it calculates all of the other values, as simple as that. We can also receive quantities from drop shippers and external locations, but never forget to close the loop - it is fundamental to have accurate numbers appearing on your system.

Efficiency

You should not waste any more time doing calculations or other manual processes that will spend your time and compromise your results. Doing things fast is good but it should be also efficient - they need to coexist when you are performing your daily processes, otherwise it would cost you in the long run or sooner. Define and check again the workflow that is right for your company. Find what's better for your colleagues and team staff. Having a friendly workflow system can be a huge help - you can adjust along the way and see what really fits into your business.

Competitiveness

There's no better way to be competitive in this market unless you do your homework. I'm pretty sure that after the pandemic years, we all got used to buying things online from grocery items, cosmetic products, furniture and so on. And sellers are also buyers - the circle goes on and on when it comes to online shopping. I am sure that you are aware of the topics that are trending so keep your mind open to change or add new suppliers into your net, and read articles about the business you're in and mostly, have a pricing measure of your own. Along studying your niche of work, you need to have reports of your company to compare and see what needs adjustment. If you have a system that gives you those reports on what is fundamental, you will be able to track information and data. Certainly so, you are most likely going to understand better your needs as a buyer and your customers' needs as buyers.

Safety

Safety measures are important.

Logs are important, therefore it is important to have a system that logs your company operational steps.

It's safer to centralize all of your operations in one place only and also, being able to access it from any computer, anywhere in the world with the guarantee that your credentials are yours and nobody else's. Your other team members have their own credentials and roles (limitations) to access it. Maybe the solution is as simple as it is: combine a reliable internet and a cloud based system to be the compass to your journey selling online safely.

No more questions! Time to put everything into motion now! Change your outlook and evolve the way you sell online.

If you agree with the points from this article, you should check the options for a system that gives you customer service and unlimited training to better adjust to your needs as a store owner nowadays. 4Psite would be happy to receive your contact today for a live free demonstration, just visit the links below for more information!

It doesn't matter how big or small your company currently is. The key to longevity in the ecommerce environment is to spare time to profit in other aspects.

It seems obvious when you look into the big picture, but how are you supposed to know what to prioritize? We always say that automation is the point and the tricks we are about to present to you are related to this fundamental concept.

TIP 01

Multi-channel

You can surely vary the ways and channels you put your products on. It is symptomatical to sell more when you put items on different shelves. Every marketplace and store has its own set of rules and perks . Offer your customers the chance to choose where to buy from so you create a demand for your products. Centralizing and capturing those orders in a single place avoids the effort to open several tabs which in an every-day operation can be time consuming and cause mistakes. You are still able to identify where the orders are coming from in a much more functional way.

TIP 02

Intelligent inventory management

Inventory counts are inevitable once in a while. Imagine having to count every single item for accurate count, every single week or even every day? In a piece of paper? Phew! Your business needs to flow in a more natural and decisive way on a daily basis, you can't lose that much time to control what's coming and going. That's why we strongly recommend managing inventory in the most efficient way possible: count your physical quantities when you put them into the system and avoid counting continuously. Automatically, get the results of allocation and true availability. If you want to manage expected items that are coming from your suppliers, your inventory can be even better - adjusted, accurate and mistake-proof.

TIP 03 SHIPPING

The shipping phase - is one of the most important parts of the process. Closing the loop in the same application takes a huge amount of time out of your back. Work with several carriers and negotiate the rates directly with them. If you have more options, you can always choose where to create a label according to your needs in that particular case. If you are also able to have rules that will auto-populate in the screen according to your own created parameters, this will also save a few more minutes of your day-to-day operations that in the sum of the year will be a surprisingly big number.

The good news here is that 4Psite can provide it all to you. A cloud-based system that offers all modules at a base-fee price, no strings attached. It doesn't matter how big or small your e-commerce business is right now. Centralizing and automating in a user-friendly suite is the first step you must take so you can focus on thriving and profiting. Discover more of 4Psite with a free and live demonstration today!

4PSite

With the year coming to an end, 4Psite is proud to list some of our achievements, improvements and conversations that made 2022. Before we wrap it up, let's go over points that made this year so fulfilling for our customers and team.

Monthly webinars

With various themes, our monthly webinars remained strong throughout the year. We went from "CRM tools" to "Warehouse management", covering the most requested subjects and offering a different view of the modules that are relevant to our customers. Also, in each presentation, we adjusted the style accordingly: as an actual training of the particular relevant parts of the 4Psite system and the e-commerce environment. We have plans to continue this thriving practice in 2023!

Additions to the system

The list of additions is long! You can check them one-by-one on our "New Features" link, at the bottom of the main screen of your 4Psite account. But just to mention a few, we have new keywords added to the Template Editor, the Export Wizard has more parameters now and the action to cancel an order has to be accepted after a safety message. The full list has over 20 new additions! It is important to say that our development team is aware of all the requests and makes sure that the requests are reviewed carefully to serve our customers the best and prioritizing the system's performance. We are always listening to your needs and picking up information by engaging in conversations with our customers on a daily basis.

Social media presence

This year we continued with social media channels and we couldn't be happier with the results! We’ve reached potential clients thanks to our prominent presence on the best apps and channels. Along with the blog that is constantly updated, we shared content on LinkedIn and Facebook. Instagram is the place where we can be a little less formal, so that's why we started the instafridays with minimalist images complemented with fun subtitles. The goal is to be present and communicate the 4Psite capabilities to help ecommerce businesses operate smoothly and grow.

High-rate Customer Service

Last, but not least, we continue to get highly satisfying feedback from our customers for our responses, crisis management and fast technical resolutions. We greatly value our relationship with customers since day one and it is important for us to provide consistent support including: emails and phone calls support, the communication between customers and the 4Psite account managers, which ultimately creates a bond through their common knowledge of the business' history. The 4Psite ticketing system is reliable, straight-forward and a great perk when working with us - it is a collaborative tool where the whole team looks into specific requests, cases and trouble-solving.

4Psite is proud to complete this year with you alongside us! We wish you the best in this gift season that is around the corner! Happy Holidays and a Great New Year, from our family to yours!
